Cloud9 Marketing is a creative marketing collective based in the resort town of Whistler, BC. We deliver cutting edge, innovative and digital solutions through strategic market and data analysis tailored specifically to your business.

Collaboratively, we craft creative solutions to address your issues and needs. Once a plan is in place, our creative marketing collective implements the plan under the project management of Cloud9 Marketing to ensure quality and consistency resulting in high-quality, cost effective solutions.

What is a Creative Marketing Collective?

Whistler is home to many talented multimedia professionals, from web developers to copywriters to social media experts. Cloud9 Marketing is comprised of a Managing Director and a tight-knit network of professional freelancers that together form a creative marketing collective.

We work as one team or individually depending on the unique needs of the client. Because we pull together only the necessary talent for each project, we are able to keep our rates reasonable AND offer a complete range of marketing services.

Our team has extensive experience working with local events and festivals, hotels, sports and arts activities, resort-unique retail and other tourism drivers.

The Cloud9 Process

While each process may be different depending on your needs, a few things will always be the same.

First, you’ll get an hour of our time – free. We are happy to discuss your project and work out some rudimentary goals. We can meet in person in the vicinity of Whistler, or we can meet via Skype or over the phone.

If you are satisfied with our initial conversation, we will put together an initial audit of your project – this may entail reviewing your website, SEO, adwords account, analytics and data or brand positioning and market competition. We charge a fee for this audit as it takes a significant amount of time to offer a comprehensive plan.  Should you choose to go elsewhere, the information will be valuable.

If you decide to proceed, we will draw up an agreement which protects both parties and ensures a smooth and defined process. It will also include a timeline or work-back schedule for estimated time of delivery. A 50% retainer of total costs are required prior to beginning any work.

We offer you a free account to use our project management software: Basecamp. This enables you to view the progress, send messages and submit files. If you choose to communicate through email, that works too. Our time is tracked using an accounting software, Fresh Books, that you will also have access to. This gives you up-to-the-minute information on project budget.
